Targeted Algae Management for Pool Water
Algae can develop quickly during warm weather, heavy rain, weak circulation or changing sanitizer levels, leaving water green, surfaces slippery and the filter under added load. Pool Algaecide is a 1 L liquid pool treatment designed for visible algae control and routine preventive support.

Treatment and Prevention
When algae appears, use the treatment dose as part of a program that includes brushing, filtration and balanced water. After the pool recovers, a lower maintenance dose can support ongoing prevention.

Part of a Complete Care Routine
This product is not a routine sanitizer and does not replace testing, pH balance, circulation, filtration or shock treatment. For consistent results, check sanitizer level, circulation, filter condition and surface cleanliness together.

Before Use
• Test and adjust the pH, free chlorine, and other key water quality parameters.
• Scrub algae-infested areas to remove visible debris; if a filtration system is present, clean or backwash the filter first.

Pool with Filtration
1. After backwashing is complete, return the system to normal filtration.
2. Dilute this product with approximately 80–100 times its volume of water according to the treatment or maintenance dosage.
3. Spread the diluted solution evenly across the water surface, avoiding localized high concentrations.
4. After 30 minutes of direct contact with this product, a chlorine-based disinfectant may be added separately to adjust the free chlorine level to 3 ppm or higher; mixing the two undiluted solutions is strictly prohibited.
5. Continue circulating and filtering for 12–24 hours or 2–3 circulation cycles, and re-test, scrub, and clean based on water quality and filter condition.

Safety and Storage

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Always store in the original container, keeping the cap tightly closed and the container upright.
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from sunlight, heat sources, food, and incompatible chemicals.
• Avoid inhaling the spray or contact with eyes, skin, and clothing; wear gloves, goggles, and other protective equipment as directed on the label.
• Do not mix directly with chlorine, shock agents, acids, alkalis, or other concentrated pool chemicals. Different products must be added separately and at different times.
• Use clean, dedicated measuring equipment; do not pour leftover product back into the original container.
• Do not discharge into natural water bodies.

1. What does Pool Algaecide do?
This product is designed to help control existing algae and prevent their regrowth as part of routine maintenance. It is not a substitute for ongoing disinfection, water testing, circulation and filtration, or water balance.

2. When should it be used?
It can be used to treat visible algae when detected, or as part of preventive maintenance. For routine prevention, use 2–4 times per month; the actual frequency should be based on water quality testing, pool conditions, and the product label.

3. How much should be used per application?
Algae treatment: Use 5 mL per 1,000 L of water, equivalent to approximately 6.4 fl oz per 10,000 U.S. gallons. Routine prevention: Use 3 mL per 1,000 L of water, equivalent to approximately 3.8 fl oz per 10,000 U.S. gallons.

4. How should it be added to the pool?
Duilt the product approximately 100 times before evenly sprinkling it over the water surface. If a filtration system is present, backwash it first and then resume normal filtration; pools without a filtration system may require additional settling and vacuuming steps. Specific dilution methods, application locations, and operating procedures must follow the instructions on the final label.

5. Does the pump need to be running during use?
If a filtration system is present, it is recommended to circulate the water for 12–24 hours or 2–3 filter cycles under normal filtration conditions. Please also follow the instructions on the pump, filter, and product labels.

6. Can this product be used with chlorine or shock treatments?
They can be part of the same maintenance plan, but must never be mixed directly in containers, measuring cups, skimmer baskets, or dosing devices. Approximately 30 minutes after adding this product, add a chlorine-based disinfectant separately to adjust the free chlorine level to 3 ppm or higher.
